Intelligent Fuel Consumption Sensor(IFCS)

Intelligent Fuel Consumption Sensor (IFCS) is designed for accurate fuel consumption measurement by any combustible engine. IFCS may be used with fuel monitoring system installed on equipment with modern EURO (TIER) 3/4/5 diesel engines or equivalent engines. IFCS is used to measure the fuel consumption of engines with a balancing feature of the return flow.

Operating Principle
The operating principle of Intelligent Engine Consumption Sensor IFCS is to calculate the fuel consumption as a difference between the flow rates in supply and return fuel lines of the engine. Intelligent Engine Consumption Sensor IFCS consists of two three-dimension ring type-measuring chambers. Each chamber generates the impulse, when the volume of fuel (which is equal to the measuring chamber volume) passes through it. Electronic scheme is responsible for the impulses deduction and output impulses formation. For the 1 liter of consumed fuel IFCS generates the number of impulses, which is marked on the meter harness.

Mounting
Intelligent Engine Consumption Sensor is mounted into the fuel line of a vehicle without changing the fuel system scheme.
Intelligent Engine Consumption Sensor IFCS can operate with GPS trackers which have discrete or pulse input 0-32V, for example, with dаta logger VFT 51 Lite, vehicle tracking device VFT 75.

IFCS is 3 years from the date of manufacture under condition the flowmeter was re-calibrated in accordance with the values above.
